Freddie is the Executive Director and Founder of the Commonwealth Security Group. He previously commissioned from the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and served as a British Army reconnaissance and intelligence officer. Freddie is a Masters Graduate in International Affairs from the University of Vienna.

Admiral RK Dhowan  was the 22nd Chief of the Naval Staff of the Indian Navy. On retiring from the Indian Navy after over 42 years of distinguished service was the Chairman of the National Maritime Foundation (NMF), India, and is now Chairman of the Society  of Aerospace Maritime and Defence Studies (SAMDeS).

Prof. Amb. Maria Nzomo is the Director of the Institute of Diplomacy & International Studies at the University of Nairobi. She previously served as Kenya's Ambassador to the United Nations and the World Trade Organisation in Geneva, and as Kenyan High Commissioner in Mozambique, Swaziland and Lesotho.

Peter Longworth joined the Commonwealth Security Group after thirty years in the British Diplomatic Service, finishing as High Commissioner to Zimbabwe. An expert in African business and politics, Peter latterly served as a Director of the Commonwealth Business Council.
